From August 23 to 25, the 2024 Pain Science Academic Conference of six provinces and one city in East China and the 16th Pain Science Academic Conference of Shandong Medical Association were held in Jinan。Zhang Daying, Chairman of the Pain Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and director of the pain Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University，Zhang Dingyu, president of Hubei Doctors Association and winner of the national honorary title of "People's Hero"，Ma Chengshun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong First Medical University Affiliated Provincial Hospital (Shandong Provincial Hospital)，Yue Dongli, secretary General of Shandong Medical Association，Sun Tao, Chairman of Pain Branch of Shandong Medical Association and Director of pain Department of Provincial Hospital, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech。Wang Junnan, secretary of Pain Branch of Shandong Medical Association and deputy director of pain Department of Provincial Hospital, presided over the opening ceremony。More than 600 representatives of pain and related professions from inside and outside the province attended the meeting。
